Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Majestic Tours understands that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you may cancel a booking and the refunds or charges that apply. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Cancellation by You

You may request a cancellation by contacting us in writing (email or through our website) with your booking reference. The following conditions generally apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: You may be eligible for a full or substantial refund, subject to any non-refundable costs we have already incurred (e.g., permits, accommodation deposits). An administrative fee may apply.
  • Between 15 and 30 days before departure: A partial refund may be offered after deducting applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable components. Typically 50–75% of the amount paid may be refundable, depending on the tour.
  • Between 7 and 15 days before departure: A reduced refund may be offered (e.g., 25–50% of the amount paid), as we may have committed to vendors and logistics.
  • Less than 7 days before departure / No-show: No refund is generally provided, as costs are fully committed. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergency with documentation), we may consider a partial credit or future booking at our discretion.

Specific tours or promotional offers may have different cancellation terms; these will be communicated at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation by Majestic Tours

We may cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government advisories, insufficient bookings, or force majeure). In such cases:

  • We will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund of the amount paid, or
  • Offer an alternative tour or date, with the option to receive a full refund if the alternative is not acceptable.

We are not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (e.g., flights, visas) unless otherwise required by law.

4. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Processing may take 7–15 business days (or longer depending on your bank or payment provider). Refunds will be in the same currency as the original payment. Any bank or payment gateway charges may be deducted where applicable.

5. Changes to Your Booking

Requests to change travel dates or tour details may be accommodated subject to availability and may attract a change fee. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and our cancellation terms will apply to the original booking.

6. Special Circumstances

In cases of documented medical emergencies or other exceptional situations, we may consider a more flexible approach to refunds or future credits. Such requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
